No;provided you prepare the body correctly, go slow, have the right gear and be patient. Most problems are due to people trying to rush it; give yourself at least a week for a whole car.
Goto the local library, they usually have some good books on automotive stuff, like spraypainting, you may not have all the equipment they mention, but you will get the gist of the basic process.
