Question Door gasket or weatherstrip kit

Hello,

I need to replace the bottom door gasket on my 92 'Bird. Local Ford dealer wants 89 bux plus tax and shipping for the 5 foot long piece of rubber.
Does anyone have a source that they are willing to share?

Thanks,

Re: Door gasket or weatherstrip kit

Try JC Whitney (www.jcwhitney.com). I bought a full set of rubbers for my Mustang (doors, hatch, sunroof), and they were only about a third of the price Ford wanted.

Thanks,
I took a look, but JCW doesn't list TBirds later than 71. Any other suggestions?

Surprised with that - they stocked them for my 89 Mustang. Try picking up a Mustang magazine, as they usually have a few restoration suppliers advertising in them, and they could do T-bird stuff as well. Worth a try.
