before i attack these with a flat blade screwdriver on my '90 EA and risk chewing them up, can they be removed easily?

that is, the 3 slotted panels behind the rear doors on the passenger turret.

snap fit / unfit?

i wish to replace them with solid panels al la later E series.

it called the C-Pillar for a start

the one at the windscreen is the A-pillar, the one between the door's is the B-pillar, and then the C-pillar, but that aside.

Open the rear doors, see the screws there, undo them, pretty sure on that.
