Hi,
Ive just got given a new bumper for my fairmont( well second hand but 1000 times better than my current one)
I have a 200litre sub box fibreglassed into the boot so i dont just want to yank it out to look (its no mean feat lol) from what i can see, the bumper unbolts from in the boot. Is this correct?
I only want to take the boot install out once lol

Yes, the bumper has 2 metal sections that go under the boot floor.
they are accessible from under the boot carpet after u remove 2 grommets on each side.

Well.. no :)
U have to undo the bolt near the wheel arch
and drill out the rivets holding it to the spare wheel wel (after removing spare tyre!)

What do you mean, removed my EA bumper a few times no worries at all, and have fitted the bumper with kit on it without issue and removed it.

4.9 EF Futura

So guys - i see a lot of EF/ELs getting around with a large gap between the bumper and the quarter panel, near the wheel arch. Mine's one of them, lol.

Is this likely to be a bent clip or something? Or is the whole bumper likely to be shagged?

rear?
there is a bolt that goes through the body and into the bumper, it could be:
a: loose
b: bracket broken (riveted to bar)

the other thing is there is a clip near the corner that can snap sometimes (mine did)

Got a pic of where its sagging?
