Favourite Polish?

I haven't polished a car in about 100 years but now that I own something worth looking after again I plan to do so!

Any recommendations as to what polish to use? Are there any that are better than others or are they all much the same?

BTW - my car is only about 4 weeks old so I'm not trying to restore a dull surface yet!

Cheers!

Re: Favourite Polish?

I use Meguiars products. Most people on the Aussie forums swear by it.

Re: Favourite Polish?

You all need to try the Bowdens products, I now swear by them. Best metal polish ever.

Re: Favourite Polish?

Use the Meguiars Gold Class Wax and Final Inspection on a new car, wash it with either NXT generation or Softwash Gel.

Re: Favourite Polish?

I agree with pimpin, Bowdens Own was formulated for the best and most famous road and race cars in australia, like Moff's Mustang, A XA phase 4 GT-HO, etcetera, etcetera. i havent personally used these products, but if theyr good enough for cars like those, theyd be good enough for any car. Go to www.bowdensown.com.au to see a few of the cars the Bowden family own, as well as check out the products.

Mate,

Your best bet is the the bowdens own range. I was previously a meguiars nut but after having trying the bowdens range im hooked. It doesnt cut the paint back and gives it a real deep shine. Have a look at their website, www.bowdensown.com.au and you be the judge. Im quite sure you wont be disappointed.
