Simple question- is a EF Bumper kit able to fit on a EL with some clever 'cut work' or do you need a new bonnet and lights as well as I think they may be different as well?

The bumpers make up half of the grille (no grille on EF but you know what I mean), so it's all different. The headlights won't fit, the bonnet won't fit, so you have to replace everything, which I'm sure will just bolt on. Unless you really wanna try and graft the top part of the EL bumper onto the EF bumper then I wouldn't bother. And whether or not it will make a good fit either is also unknown...

i'm pretty sure its new bonnet, lights and bumper.
when the bonnet of my EF was damaged i was looking at putting a EF Fairmont front on my GLi, but the need to change a lot over means i'm only replacing the bonnet.

i dont see why you would need new lights they should be the same but the bonnet and bumper will need to be changed then agian i could be wrong but the light from both models look the same shape.

yer there is a difference in head lights, just think at least you get to keep ur blinkers .
But what is the point of putting a EF front on a EL, I dont see the point?

Im only interested in putting the EF bumper on A EL and doing a bit of 'chop' work.

its a copy of the EL Preditor grille you can see the car in the geelong ford discovery center its the one ford did as one of there inhouse projects its gold and is a straight gas supercharged 6 which from memory is putting out 220kw

the grille does look verry nice im often tempted to take the one off my olds EL and switch it over with the mesh one when im in the discovery center do u think theywould notice........
