eek front bumper is coming off

Hey,

Ive noticed that the front bumper bar is starting to droop on my ED.

I seen quite a few cars around town that have got sagging front and rear bumpers, but some of them look like its as tight as it was from factory.

It looks bad, as soon as anyone (read chics) see it they think, "this guy drives a bodgey"

Any easy fix?

Cheers

Will

Its only a couple of mongrel clips I think, with a strange and awkward way to get them on, same thing used to happen on my XG from bumping gutters.

easy fixed... take the bumper off, replace plastic clips (if necessary), adjust mounts (if necessary) and put it back on. Make sure when putting the bumper back on that the side mounts slide into the plastic clips. All up it should take you only 30mins.

Yeah happened on our EB Wagon, you have to take the whole bumper off and get new clips which shouldn't cost much at all.

I agree with you though it does look bad. BTW have you considered the ED Sprint clear side indicator lenses??

Yeah i have considered the sprint lenses. what do you do about the yellow lens on the side of the car? I think they are only something like 40 bux.

Hey bigred, I had the grey part of the front and rear bumpers and the side strips painted the same colour as the rest of the car - it cost $400 - the best money I have ever spent - it looks great!

Hey my Fairmont used to do that (EB). It was the clips on the side, the bumper kept jumping off the clips.

It really shat me off.
