Hope i got this in the right section =p

Anyone know if boot mounted fuel cells are legal in a street car in Victoria?
If so, are there any particular requirements it must meet?

Also, whats the largest legal bonnet scoop allowed?

I got a pair of those super cheap fake air vents that you pull the backing off of and stick to your bonnet using double sided tape. Sell them to ya for a low low price of 80 bucks.

Seriously I don't know why I bought them, they were two dollars. Can't resist anything cheap, no matter how stupid. One day they'll go on my GT

No Fuel cell may be fitted to the boot area of the car un-less it is able to be filled from the out side. In other words you must beable to use the factory filler. As for scoops nothing bigger than 165mm high.

I was thinkin that! .. the other day at the petrol station the attendant lady went spacko at a dude who filled a jerry can in his boot, saying its Illegal to fill a container in your boot, it has to be out of the car and clearly visible.

i used to get checked out all the time with my XF ute when filling with gas because the filler was mounted to the tank itself in the back of the ute.

servo attendants used to run out to check that i wasnt filling gas bottles with auto gas till they got to know me.
