GL ==> Ghia exterior parts

does any one know if the Fairmont Ghia back facia (between the rear lights) is a bolt on replacement for the GL facia? Im looking to tart up the exterior of the car a tad, and this would help allot.?? Also does anyone know an aproxamate price for this piece.

Im also looking for the side mouldings from a ghia (larger mouldings with chrome insert) and the crome insert for the front an rear bumpers. How much should these cost from wrecker, or new.?

Cheers

I think this has been discussed once or twice before and as i remember they do bolt straight on. Good luck finding a non-faded, non-cracked one! Id say about $50 from the wreckers?
I didnt know ghia's had larger moldings? But definatly get that rear panel changed, the GL one is CRAP! :)

The ghia mouldings are the same size as the 'S', but some of the GL's have a very thin 20mm wide moulding allong the doors.

Last time i enquired about the ghia boot fascia, most wreckers quoted me between $100 and $125 (or $55 for an s-pack one). After hearing this, I decided that a $6 can of black paint would service my needs instead!!!

I enquired about NEW ghia body moulding for my XF about a year ago and the guy at ford said that all up it would cost $325, so i'm assuming the price for an EA would be similar. I have no idea what it'd be worth from a wrecker though...
