Any i got or seen an xy ute with a hard top cover.
did it look any good. what you guys recon of the concept

I love the idea, but those of us with older utes aren't catered for by
aftermarket suppliers. Need to make our own. The XY has very square
lines from memory and that should make it a little easier to fabricate.
Could also get a trimmer to make a flat tarp and that would give
you the look at a cheaper price I would think.

yeah for sure. i would definately make up a custom on.
thinking an aluminim frame made up from small rhs's and then just a flat maybe 6mm plate of ally for the top. then use a piano hinge and hook it up to open sideways.
then i just gotta deside weather to paint it, or just polish it up to a mirror finish.
got the tarp but still kept the middle stablisher bar thingy.
shouldnt be to hard but dont wanna do it and then go, damb that looking crappy
