Help with door trims - Acid, anybody ?

Hi Guy's,

This is mainly for Acid, but I'm sure there are a few of you who can help.
I am thinking of jazzing up the interior with a bold colour in the way Herrod do with there custom interiors. Mainly, I was thinking of lining the bottom of the doors (the part that is sunk in) with a piece of MDF lined in a material the same colour at the car.
Now, the question -
How did Acid attach the bottom of his doors ?
The part with the velvet and speakers. You can't see any screws from the outside.

Thanks for your help

Scotty

In the case of my doors, it isnt just screwed on... I cut the door trim away, so my pods (Which go right along the bottom of the door) sit flush with the door skin (Held in place from behind with fibreglass), then covered a larger area of the door with the velvet. At Bunnings you can get a glue that holds material very very well, I can't remember what its called, but Bass Crazy suggested it, so maybe he can give a name... HTH

You could counter sink little bolts into the board as I have, then cover it with the fabric so that u cant see them. You can also fibreglass/putty over the holes so the bolt doesnt spin when u tighten it up
