Read with interest what v8 ghia mike had to share about using Autosol on headlights to clean them.
Can anyone suggest how to really clean windows? These ones in particular have overspray on them from a 3 mth old spray job (acrylic not 2 pak). Would Autosol work? Or is there something else?

I have helped a mate in a panel shop quite a few times after resprays and all they usually do is clean it all with a razor blade, then give it a quick buff when doing the rest of the car.. :)
I find it also helps to use a slight cutting motion ( if going side to side then also go slightly up and down at same time to cut through overspray )and keep glass wet with a bit of soapy water to help the blade glide...
AUTOSOL is great for polishing windows
I've had plenty of practise as im a detailer and alot of the cars i do get cigarette smoke goo and the best way to really get rid of them is AUTOSOL.
Also potatos are good as they put a protective film over the window
Cut it in half, rinse it and apply to window slowly in a side to side motion. Works Wonders
Steel wool will scratch the glass but there is a brass type wool designed for this job that doesn't scratch and should be available from your paint and panel supply shop.
