My F-150 bumper got clipped by a car backing out past mine down a narrow driveway. The quote from a dealership is like $450 for a new bumper, but mine isn't really all that bad, and it was a 17 year old who is a friend of mine that hit it. If Insurance is filed, his will sky rocket and he's already said that he would pay for it, but 450 bucks for that kind of mistake seems a little high for me and I know the kid and want to help him out. Any alternatives that you guys can think of? Would that be something I can buy used fairly easily and in good shape? Anyways, let me know what you think

Depending on the damage, there are companies around that can recondition / repair plastic components - I brought an EF Tickford front spoiler with a 2" chunk taken out of it, a company here in Adelaide plastic welded it up and once primed you'd never know.

depending on where you are ,,, go to a Bull bar to bar joint and see if they have any floating around ,, as there sure to ,, or there would be a good chance of B/bar exchange factorys around...

What model F150 is it as it may very well be worth that sort of dough......

Theres a bit of metal in them bars so some panel shop shorely would be able to bump it push and shove in back to its orignal shape...
