I have a 74 landau with Z848 on the paint code ,i know z is wild viloet but 848? Also it looks like it has never been painted that colour.

it probably isnt wild violet. its probably a really rare colour. cause i know some colours(rare kinda 1 offish ones) were y### so your z### might also be a special one. try ringing 13ford and asking or ask on the www.falcongtclub.org web discusion

That paint code isnt listed but there are a few listed under Z but none that match up with the year model of your car, what colour is your car?

I rang 13ford and i had to explain what a landau was ,but he put me on to dulux and we worked out that it was emerald fire.it was a ford fleet colour (15848)
