sometimes its not a number it could be a letter or a letter and number together, on some plates you may find trim/paint and a series of letters and numbers, if all else fails ring ford and ask them there will be several blue`s for that model you will have to get the codes for all the blue`s and take them to your paint shop and they should be able to pick which one it is, if not you may have to have it colour matched but that is a pretty drastic measure you should be able to find the colour without resorting to colour matching
