Hey all, i've come across a bit of a problem and was wondering if i can get everyones opinion, i'm in the process of building the xf (again) and since im going to take the engine out and get the engine bay painted (weld up holes etc) i was wondering if i should paint the rest of the car. The only reason im asking this is because the front doors have a few chips on them (gone to undercoat), the roof has a nice big chip(gone back to undercoat), from easternats last year a rock has hit up causing a little dimple (paint has cracked) and the front end needs painting due to the painter not painting all that stuff properly(bar, lights, grille) all need painting, not to mention some of the shrink back throughout the car, help me, what do i do?

If your gonna fix all that suff might aswell go all the way, because half the car would have to be painted anyway.

depends on what color. Are you gonna stick with the same, or go something different?

I would respray the car, unless the engine bay is going a different colour to the car, in which case I would just touch up and paint what is really needed.

I was thinking of changing the color, was going to paint it either citric acid or blood orange, but the burgundy looks good and the champagne wheels really suit it.

I vote citric acid - but thats just my opinion, post a pic to photoshop, and ask someone to give you a preview :0)

Im gonna stay with the burgundy, after talking to a few mates and cousins they all told me to keep it burgundy.
