Can anybody please recommend a high quality panel shop in the eastern suburbs of Melb?.
one who they have entrusted with getting their car tidied up for some minor shopping dings and respraying.

Looking to get a scratch on the corner of the rear bumper resprayed, and 2 tiny dings on the front quater..

Listen i got my car resprayed at my uncles in East Brunswick right, but after close inspection at my mates uncles joint - he spotted so many imperfections. (Silicon spots - dry paint - you can see the sanding down marks thru the paint in one area) And judging by his exceptional ability in detecting these problems i could tell that his experience in panel beating id wanna use on my car if i could get the chance again.

You recommended me for the alarm. So this is the least i can do for you!

Hiya Gavin,

Also give Surrey Panels a call - they might be a bit pricy, but they're honest, reliable and VERY thorough ! They have been round for ages and the 2 times I've been there, they have been exceptional in customer service too. Family members and extended family take their cars there too - gee, now it sounds like we're a bunch of people who can't drive their cars lol ;-)

Give europaint i heard dat they are pretty good ..... and they did a pretty good job on my car

Thanks guys...yeah Im a real fussy prick, and a friend of mine who is a spray painter refuses to do it for me, saying I wouldnt accept his standards..hehe

I had a tiny incident whilst reversing on sunday...gave me good reason to get a couple of other things done at the same time...

Thanks for the recommendation Chubbz...will look into it.

Here's another one - Blackburn Motor Body. Lindsay Fox has his cars restored there, and they treat all cars equally. They are as fussy as me when it comes to repairs. They also will take you on a tour of the premises before you make up your mind to go there.

I will get a few quotes, and check out a few workshops...

I want it done top notch the first time. I dont care if they have it for 2 weeks, as long as its perfect.
