The dealer will try and sell you kinds of add on services......rust proofing, paint protection/glazing, scotch guarding, doobywhacker anti-static gizmo charging etc...
Just say no. You can get all these things done by yourself at a much cheaper price, cutting out the dealer/middle man fat on the top.
PLUS, some of these services are total crap anyway. Paint glazing? Is a car a donut or something?
You don't need paint protection......look after your car, clean it often, give it TLC instead.
And if you must get it 'rustproofed'.......take it to someone who you see an example of their work before hand...they should do a frickin thoroughjob for it to be worth the cash. And to be honest I'd probably still only get it if you lived real close to a beach or a lead mine!

PS does anyone know what rustproofers use to rustproof anymore? Do they still use fish oil, or wax or sump oil??? Or something else?
