My Car has swirl scratches all over the roof, bonnet & Boot, iv tried to polish and wax it but there still there, it looks as if the car had been deeply polished with incorect methods before me...Would a cut and polish help??
I was just thinking i hope its just in the top coat , have plenty of checks , by plent of different painters and detailers , as all of them will more than ever have a different idea,
some time back my sister had her new some time back Toyota Seca jobbie not sure 94 95 i don t no , any way shes out there cleaning her new pride and joy , cleaning it scubbing it and shes not an fool or bimbo shes faily swicthed on , acept she rushed this day and used one of those sponge and scurrer things that are ment to live sinks and cubburdes not in buckets of water washing cars ,
end result the car had swiles and very noticeable marks left on the paint work where , shes howed in ,, and well it was a mess.
back then some ases in the auto trade said yes it needs this and that and it will cost some , but lucky when a frend of the famliy took care of it , a talented trades person ,, lightily cut it with some really higr grade paper and re polished the whole car,, cost was a couple of hundred , but shit loades cheaper than the others . you no ,, it needes a top coat and re clearing etc , at a very nice high price,,
The car is still around in there house hold and has not sign of fadding or going off , and it is a famliy truckester , that dont get the regular washing and pampering it use to, still looks the gooods.
Check all areas as the simplest will probly work.
sorry if not the anwser your after it just twigged about the same situation.
It even could , could be in the panel work , bad prep, from old repaires etc.
Yeah cut and polish did the trick, I got the EL cut and polished and its as if its just come out of the factory, i cant find one little swirl nor scratch
Ahh a car detaling place Moorabin, Vic, bloody thing cost $450 all up but they did it all, exterior and interior. The car seriously looks like new not a mark not a scratch in sight.
