'05 Escape Ltd with painted trim, looking for some sort of rubber pad or protective covering for painted rear top surface of bumper. If sliding heavy items out of cargo this area will get damaged (guess that's why non Ltd has non painted, duh).

Anyway, any sources for perfect fitting easy install products?

You can get some stuff that is like clear contact but a bit thicker sorry but cant help you with the name of it but most auto shops should sell it, it is normaly used on front bumper bars and the front edge of a bonnet to stop stone chips

Yeah, I've got a great local guy for the 3M film, but was looking for a simple lay-in rubber pad like every other SUV on the road. :(
