Hi everyone, I just picked up a bucket style center concole with lid and 4 cloth trim door trims for $ 50 not to bad.
I would like to know if anyone has painted there center console, if so how does it look and are there any spacial things I have to do? Its that dark grey colour from a Ea, its looking a bit old and crappy thats why I would like to paint it.

Well, when I was doing mine, I first used plastic primer so that the paint would stick properly, then I used spray putty and sanded it back with gradually finer grit sandpaper. Then spray the color, smooth and repeatbout 3 times. Do one final coat, let dry, then spray with a clear coat. Turned out alright and looks good to. Patience is the key, let things dry completely before going at it again.

spot on rymers, i didnt do that so now i have to re-do all my plastics that are painted, but this time im sanding them all back before i paint them and using a plastic primer, hopefully it turns out good.
