Guys need some small help.

My wife has a Ford Focus Sedan

Only 6 months new !!

I have noticed recently the typical road problems appearing on the paint.

Bird Crap (which I try to remove immediately) general road grime, small superficial scratches / blemished etc.)

The paint of course is still in great condition, but I want to keep it good naturally enough.

Now I want to buy some polish.
Not cut and polish

I see Kmart have a 15% sale off motor access. at the moment.

There are many to choose from ie Kitten, Turtle Wax, Polyglaze.

They have the standard types that have been around for years, the small round can polish or tun.

I notice these days there are many new and improved types for scratch removal, polish, deep shine etc etc.

Does any one recommend a particular type or brand of polish?

I just need somewhere to start.

Some range from $5.50 to $19.95

Do I get the expensive one hoping it is the best or just stick to the plain old Kitten Polish for $5.95 ??

I use kitten liquid polish have tried a few others and found its the best by far, works well with a buffer too.

And that strach removal doesnt do shit, Xstrach its called. I tried it on the most tinnest scratches but doesnt work. Im gonna try it again but with a buffer and see if it helps. But i wouldnt waste the money on it.

carnauba wax is the shit to use! i use it on my ef and its gotta be the best. its not cut and polish so it wont ruin ur car and if you keep on top of it, it can really protect ur car. It gets out minor scratches and buffs out any markings.

If you want a real good deep gloss finish get Meguiars Tech Wax. It will take light scratches and stains out and is real easy to use. But it is $40 a bottle. Well worth the money.
