I've discovered that straight vinegar makes a great window cleaner; leaves absolutely no streaks at all. How worried do I have to be about damage to any paint that the vinegar gets on (overspray)? 2004 F150.
It should be fine. Just wash it off after your done and it should be fine. If your worried maybe give it a coat of wax as it might strip the wax but it wont do anything to the paint.
Well i think the coat of wax would get rid of it. Or just lay some rubber. Burnt rubber would certainly get rid of the smell. And would be a lot more fun.
i dont care for the vinegar smell either but i think the rubber smell will cover it up.
i dont think that vinegar is strong enough to hurt the paint and you should dilute it slightly with a little water anywho!
