Hey people, just wondering how hard it would be to install a pursuit 250 bodykit to my auii xr6 ute. Would I be able to put it on myself or is it hard?

You need to speak to Falkeen. AFAIK he fitted his own kit so he should be able to tell you what the tricky bits were.

they are all pretty simmilar in fitting just trial fit the kit before you paint it, incase it needs some adjustments,I fitted mine (tickford kit) in a couple hrs.

not to be confused with the 250 pursuit kit this is the factory option kit for the XR6/8 utes series II/III.
I had the 250 pursuit front lip for it but decide to go the factory option kit.

Any particular reason you went for the tickford kit over the pursuit?

Just as a matter of interest what sort of money are we looking at for the factory option kit? Aussie dollars is fine it will give me some idea at least.

Not really, I wanted the whole kit,but thought the car wasnt a pursuit 250 so stick with the factory look,the pursuit front lip requires cutting of the middle section of the front spoiler as well,when i replace this ute I probly will go for a AU 250 pursuit in black.
The kit cost around $700 + painting

I have been quoted about $1700, I think, or roundabouts for the tickford option kit, and about $2500 for the pursuit kit (all fitted and painted).

As for raw parts (unpainted), Pursuit 250 was $1350, and tickford option was $895.

Might have changed the last few months though...
