#Try wetting down the concrete just before you spray,this will help stop any shit getting in the paint.
*Make sure everything on, near or around the car IS dust free & clean. prep everything & be set up ready to go 1st thing, less wind around (just make sure its gunna be a nice day.
%Mix all your paint in 1 go (rather than bit by bit) for better colour consistancy and Continually stir the paint to keep the metallic mixed thru evenly.
@I never rub my colour coats back unless there was a run or shit in it, rub back lightly wet, then a little more paint to cover the scratches(very small but will show up)
^finish colour with a light misty coat for the matallic
After the colour, mix 75% colour to 25% clear - a light misty coat
then 50/50 colour / clear, then25% / 75% clear
then I would say about 7 -8 light coats of clear. (the extra coats give a little room for heavy handed rubbing back which you dont want but is easy to do as well as a few coats being rubbed off and leaving plenty on there.Make sure you cover the edges well
!Give it a week or 2 to let the paint harden a little & rub back with 2000 grade wet & dry with soapy water, enough to take the orange peel out which is even evident in factory paint. let set for about a month for chemicals to evaporate out of paint, then polish (buff) & wax (good quality) Comes up like glass and will give a mirror like reflection. Done my XY ute and had experianced painters try to tell me it was painted in 2 pak. HaHaHa
!Take your time preping the body properly as it wont matter how good your paint is on a shit body,dont rush as temting as it may be & take the time to tape up properly.
