How does one go about to remove the pinstriping that's on the early E-series such as the ones that are in my pic below?

Real easy.

Either wait for a hot day or use a hair drier on low. The pin striping will peel off. Then use a bit of prepsol to clean of the gunk. A quicl polish to restore the gloss. Done

yeah mine fell off one door so i put it back on with double sided tape then a week later after work i found that they had been stolen aswell as my stupid hubcaps... lol i dunno

They stole your pinstripes? What a joke!

I'm taking mine off to give it a more cleaner look. I think the chrome lining on the BSDMs are enough.

my pin stripping was ripped of half way by this 6yr old kid in my stree i tried every thing to keep it on then i just went to super cheap and got new ones - as i only put the other ones on about a week before and that damn kid though it would be smart to rip some of and tell me is a sticker - but any way while i was getting the old one of i found it ripping of the clear coat even using a hair drier and on a 30 degree day but now with my new gold stripping it looks better
