Has anyone priced a spoiler for an EL lately?

I'm looking to put spruce up my EL with a Spoiler, possibly a body kit but definatly an XR nose to replace the standard GLi front.

Has anyone here made any GLi -> XR conversions before? I know a few people will no doubt be against this due to the car not really being a Tickford model but I do intend on putting in the performace chip if that helps :)

my mate put an EL XR front on his EF GLi, looked pretty sweet, his EF was fairly hardcore though.

Just don't pass it off as a Tickford i.e no wings unless you get the susp or engine Tickford-ised and you'll keep me happy

Just beware that the XR headlight assemblies will cost you a packet unless you can find 'em at a wreckers real cheap (this stops a lot of people from carrying the conversion out). But have a look at SVO though, they do some really nice body kits that fit with GLi headlights. Have some nice T-type spoilers too. Not trying to deter you, just offering some other options :)

actually thanks for that Tickford6. A body kit might be better in the end considering all I want to do is lose the plain look of the GLi

Sorry but I have no idea what SVO is, I've heard of SSV (www.ssv.com.au)...

Simno, I've been going around wreckers lately and I can't find anything other than totalled taxis (man theses things were stuffed, almost brings a tear to the eye heheh). I'm going to take a look at some Ford wreckers soon, only been to Pick a Part (etc) so far. I'll post my findings when I know more.

In the end though, I might just be better with a body kit... hmm, not as much fun to install though

SVO - Spevial Vehicle Operations I think. Mick Webb runs them, and I think their in the Nunawadding/Ringwood area.
They did a lot for the EAs, but have kept up special vehicles, stroker kits, heads, body kits and the like.
