Well so much for original ****ing panels.

Bah.

Some dickhead in a truck just took out my driver's side fender. But yay I get to pay up because I was half parked in a non standing zone. Looked legal to me, I'll go check it later.

The great thing is, he took out a different car today. How do some people get licences?

I'll try get it beat out, I want it original.

Well I was at Bob Jane checking out tyres, he's come in to do a delivery and ****ed it up.

He couldn't find me so he left his number with the tyre place and I got it off them. Gave him a call and it looks like he wants to play hard ball. Hah, I've got two ex-traffic cop parents. I'll find a loophole somewhere.

Bad luck there Rob, but .........

I would have thought it doesnt matter where you are parked, unless it was a bus zone and a bus hit you, he hit your car, you did not hit him, so he has to pay up, illegla park or not does not give the right to just damage some one elses property, well thats my opinion, a hypothetical to the local police is order me thinks.

I'll call Vic Roads in a tick (are they open this late?), no point calling the cops, they'd probably book me the second I admitted to it.

Yeah so if he demolishes your car and you were totally parked in the loading zone does that work?

Re: Well so much for original ****ing panels.

Well I got off the phone to the cops, he reckons it'd depend on the judge.

Though I put Karl's scenario forward, about smashing up a car in a no standing zone, he said that'd be willful destruction. I'll try that one if it falls through.
