just bought a 01 Escape xlt and i hate white marks on the handles and cargo rack is there anything i can do? anyway to clean this up?

White marks? Please elaborate.

Scrapes , paint , something else? Start with some simple product like scratch-x its good at removing a number of problems and is easy to use and will pretty much not need anything extra.

You can also follow up with this stuff on the entire vehicle and then wax it to seal it all up.

Actually seems more to me that it be dried polish.....common on 'cleaned up' cars

oo ok yeh its white marks on the door handles, roof rack, etc, stuff thats painted in textured not clearcoat black, if its polish how do i remove it?

Prepsol...Wax and grease remover.

There is another product called Black chrome...but that is an absolute last resort.
