Black EX-R6

Were all the xbgt's wings painted the same color as the body. Its just ive seen a fair few with the wing painted the color of the gt paint outs. Did some come out this way?

i thought they were always low sheen black. i know mine is.

Ive seen a stack of them same color as the cars body. Then a few same color as the gt paint outs. Then some more black. Im just trying to work out what they came out like from factory.

I mean ive seen alot at car shows with the same color as the body paint on them. Now car show cars you would think would be sticklers for originality.

there's a couple painted body colour but most are black.

as far as i know those wings were dealer fit only and weren't factory any way. every one i have ever seen is black

If its a dealer fit is their anywhere that it would say that? On some paperwork or something?

It would be hard to verify after this long.

By quoting the VIN number to ford they may or may not be able to tell you the options the car left the factory with. Items fitted by Dealers would be alot harder to authenticate I would imagine, unless the original owner kept all the paperwork and receipts and passed them on with the car.

Besides some items could be fitted months or even years after initial purchase by a Dealer. Alot can happen in 30 years.
