Re: 19 inch's on ef?

Depends on how lowered your car is, and the width of the rim/tyre package.

I think a moderately lowered (ie lows or superlows) E-series sedan can take up to 255-width tyres.

Re: 19 inch's on ef?

ok... i have an ef fairmont... lowered on lovells superlows at the front n king springs ultralows on the rear so the car sits nice fat n low n equal height at either end... 5 days ago i had a new set of wheels bolted onto my car... 245/35/19s... so im the perfect example... when i 1st bolted them on they were a very tight fit... however when i drove over any bumps the lipp of the guards above the tyre would "scrub" on the wheels... front and back... to fix it i payed a tyre chop $120 (could do it yourself) what they did was use a "heat gun" to heat up the wheel arch paint (so the paint work wouldnt chip) then they used a heavy rubber mallet to hammer the lipp upwards facing the roof of the car... driving around after having this done to my car has cured it of the scrubbing so im happy n so are my wheels!
