well its come time to put a new cam in me 93 fairmont ghia and with that many out there i haven`t got a clue on what one would do the better job

atm the engines near stock only having the intake manifold changed to the gt40 setup, exstractors hi flow cats and full 3" system, and have a set of 1.7 rockers

whats the lumpyest i could go with out having to change the pistons

There are a few cam threads around... try a search. Considering you've already got 1.7's the crane 2031 springs to my mind too. I have installed one into my car. The note of my idle has changed a little for the better and the occupants are now treated to a gentle shake at idle. Not what I’d call a wild cam but still I love it! I think you'll find most people questioning your desire to do cam before heads however. Do you plan to change the heads at the same time?
