Re: 650 horsepower EA anyone?

Cheers again everyone, the support is appreciated. Stay tuned for pics next week.

Joe, thanks for the offer, I just might take you up on it.

Doug, detailed specs seem few and far between at this point, I'll have to see what comes in the box. You're probably right about the Ebay intercoolers - I'll certainly do research before diving in. The best thing would probably be a factory-spec intercooler out of another turbo car, so it is at least going to be built to certain standards.

Damo, another member has expressed an interest in the T5 already. I will see how I go on that one.

Smoke, yeah it will have come a fair way. When I bought it it was not very fast. I once drove a 3 speed auto Festiva hatch after getting used to the EA, and was terrified with how quick it was. My problem was a combination of snapped throttle cable, and Ford's pathetic decision to release 3 speed EAs with diff ratios and gearing totally unsuited to the engine. And yes they still do this with the 3.08 BAs to an extent.

Re: 650 horsepower EA anyone?

Yes we had a lowlife with an obsession with body parts and homosexuality posting crude messages about jack and his car. He died a painful death. So the confusion was because EAII Fairmont replied to this scum bag and then I deleted the post. Since then hes been removed from the forums so there is no trace of where he has posted.
