'90 S to 90 30th Anni Wagon - Ford Forums

Hi all

I finally got around to getting another car to pull to bits. I have a 90 GL 30th Anniversary wagon (3.9 CFI, 4 speed) and just picked up a 90 S Pack for $200.00. The S has a 3.9 MPFI, recently replaced and 4 speed auto. I plan on using the engine, dash etc.

Will the transfer of parts be fairly straight forward or am I in for some surprises?

Oh, and I wanted to use the doors from the S but it looks like the locaks are different. I thought the 90 series had the same Tibbe (sp?) but alas no. Is it an easy-ish job to transfer the locks from the wagon to the S doors?

you need to swap the looms and computers over, other than that its pretty straight forward.

I just got a 93 EB so I will be transplanting the 4.0L instead.

G'day,
the tibbe locks came out on the EB series 1. The do fit to earlier models.
