Hi, I recently picked up a 89 EA SPAK 5spd falcon after crashing my series 2 EB. The EB was really quiet even at high speeds, I still have the wreak out the back and was wondering what the differences between the two and what parts of it can be swapped over into the EA.. eg. suspension, chassis, mountings to make it more pleasent to drive.


Any suggestions would be great, cheers. Brett

Swap the lot, it is all possible, only differnce between them are the boot different holes cause of the reverse lights in the EBII, I am not sure but the windscreen wiper cowling on the EBII might be the flatter like the ED, worth swapping that over, I have half done mine, but it does really require a windscreen swap as well to fit 'nicely'. The bonnet are different but only due to badge placement on bonnet EA, and in grille on EBII.

Make it quiet, start with all the door rubbers and rubbers along the top of the roof, also you may to switch mirrors, have a look at them the EB ones are slightly more rounded.
