95 EF Falcon Question

Hi Lads,

I've just a got a quick question that I'm hoping you can possibly help me with.

As stated, I have a 95 EF Falcon and its playing up strangely.
Its an Automatic, and when its going through the gears (mainly from 1st to 2nd) it seems to 'jerk' or change really hard.

You can literally feel the whole car stutter from the clunk.

It's recently had a general service in the last 2-3 months, and I've gone through the usuals like checking fluids and so forth and all my fluids are pretty well topped up.

I even tried turning Economy off and on, driving it like a manual going through the gears and so forth but nothing has helped.

It's done this once before but then went away, It has now started again and I really only noticed this happening after I topped up my Engine Oil. If that makes any difference.

I'm only 20 and I don't have a lot of mechanical knowledge but any tips or assistance would greatly be appreciated.

Re: 95 EF Falcon Question

It needs the bands adjusting and probably the transmission fluid and filter changed.
