hey guys, parents got a 95 fairmont ghia, and its running a bit rough. from my inexperienced ear, i think it might be misfiring? at idle the rpm needle keeps dropping then coming up, its not very smooth at all. even at revs it miss-fires.

anyway, i replaced the plugs [they were due for replacement anyway] but still no change. i was thinking that i will replace the leads next.

any rough ideas on what too look at? i'm a bike rider, so i don't know that much about cars. parents wanna get rid of the fairmont soon thou, so they don't wanna blow money taking it to a workshop and nothing getting fixed, so they asked me to have a bit of a poke around.

doing the leads seem to have fixed it. cheers.

its probably just your leads,
replace them and see how you go.
