The electric windows on my 96 Fairlane when operated make a horrible grinding and crunching noise (except the front passenger side). I removed the drivers door trim to try look at where the noise was and it apears to be the wire strap is fraying and binding up on the runners.
Can someone advise me how to totaly remove the the whole thing from the door. And is the front and rear doors the same setup ?
It must be if you can't figure it out!
Set-up is the same, but probably not the exact same measurements, if that is what you mean. Un-bolt whatever is holding it in and remove. IE, window and window track, bolts for the motor etc.
