buying an ed falcon gli 5 litre

hey!just bought an ed falcon 5 litre for 7 k with 170k on the clock.runs like silk but is almost stock(cept for ed xr8 rims).trouble is,i cant stop thinking about the luxury i maybe missing out on(i really wanted a fairmont ghia)...can anyone make me feel a little better and tell me if there are any advantages in buying the gli?they reckon the power windows on the fairmont will just cost money and i can always upgrade the interior for low cos(maybe leather) so i dont think im missing out on that much and i DID get the 5 litre which is magic! feel free to reply...also im gonna be dropping around 8 to ten grand in mods(engine and suspension..no bodykits)so ill keep posting in the future, thanx

Re: buying an ed falcon gli 5 litre

I highly recommend upgrading to the Ghia seats from either EB or D.
Even the half leather half velour ones are great. I have full leather now & had half/half in my EA. These seats are bloody comfortable.
Plenty of stuff you missed out on with the Gli but with the V8 sound coming from your car I'm sure you dont mind.

i wouldnt worry too much about the power windows as they are a 1 piece set if u now what i mean and cost around $350 brand new.

go the the ghia seats as i have a nc 2 fairlane and the seats in it are more comfortable than me old mans BA
