Whats the differences between the CFi and MPFi ECU's on EA series 2?
My CFi ECU im thinking might be cactus due to its doing the same thing as MustangNicko's car plus The previous owner use to jump start it occasionally and didnt know the first thing about cars.

Can i use the MPFI ECU? or Should i get another CFi one for the mean time.
I do intend on converting to MPFi over christmas

In a word, no. Two reasons, the first being that the idle is controlled very differently cfi-mpfi, mpfi uses a 2 wire voltage controlled setup, cfi uses a 4 wire positional motor setup.
Also, the injectors are controlled differently. CFI has different amounts of fuel that can be pumped in, mpfi it's just on or off, basically.
Just grab a cfi ecu for the time being, there are about 7 million cfi ea's down at JRs.

i have a cfi ecu sitting here doing nothing, car was 4 speed auto too
