At least some people have decided on being different, thats great! So that does not make our team not only different but real nutters for what we've done to a perfectly std EA Ghia!?
Jack mate, a 200Kw 5l, you can put allot more than that.
How about a 4.6 240kw Mustang, it should be a easy fit. Then get the big block kit to 5.4/5.8 and you have 280/350KW easy.Though you'll need to mod the D/T and find a suitable tranny. It took us a while to get a stroker on the Windsor to get near that figure 350kw , well I suppose the Windsor design is much older. Banging a Windsor V8 in is easy, more easier than the new AU 4l donk, it has less electrical mucking around. The AU donk would have heaps more stick than a EA in theory as its lighter than the AU, nice idea.....
I could just as easily have said the 220kW XR8 motor would fit, but I was factoring in finances as well. If I can ever spare the cash, I would like a different engine in my car, preferably a V8, but I don't know exactly what I'd go for.
