about to mod my rear lights on my EB, gonna take the amber and red lens out so basicly just a clear light, then just buy red and amber lights

i thought before i start doing this, wondering wearther it is legal to have a custom lights on you car, or is it bascily as long as its visible

atm my brother has taken his amber out and sprayed the back of the red lens black with 2 holes, so you can see the red still, at night and from a distance it is very visible still and shouldnt be a problem with it, when i was driving it i didnt seem to be followed or nothing, but bad luck has a way of showing its ugly head

I have investigated into this when i made my first set of custom EB lights.

in Victoria its not illegal to remove the amber part of the tailights and use a orange glob but it is for the Brake light?

Apparently removing the red reflector and using a red globe is illegal

cominthru - yea my bro will be posting more pictures soon, once i figuare out a new idea for my lights we are gonna go take more pictures at night also really test them out too

InitialD - thanks alot for that, its explains alot thow, seeing as most lights are all clear these days accept for the break, there always red

(example: the new BA clears and black lights, both lens still red, that goin for lancer lights, commodor lights and others)

allthough now i have an idea of how to work this now, once again thanks for that
