Re: cobra engine

I came back from Iraq and couldn't use 5spd anymore . can somebody tell me what I need to put an AOD-E in my 94 cobra please? I have 94 GT transmission and ECM/ wire harness . Yes flexplate and all. Will auto ECM work w/cobra engine (24#injectors) ? I was told had too keep ECM w/ transmission so swapped whole 5spd package for AOD-E setup. Now being told can't use cobra engine w/ AOD-E transmission ???? HELP

Re: cobra engine

if want the engine to run, forget a standard computer. you are going to have to go aftermarket. as all the cobra computers, are still attached to the engines. plus ford computers dont like any changes at all and they go into hissy fit mode.
