Yeah but I think it will be needed for the bumpers.
Cut my wrist on the rear door trying to undo the handle bolts... stupid pop-rivetted theft shield or whatever it is...
my tip, and what I did when re-installing the freshly painted handles; put about 6 stips of masking tape on top of each other over every sharp peice for metal you need to put your hands near... no cuts :D
flexi add makes the paint have a bit of elasticity, so that if (and by the nature of plastic it probably will) the handles/mirror plastic bends it won't break the paint... same stuff you need to add to the paint when doing the bumpers etc... makes it a little more resistant to chipping also... u have to mix it with the paint, and with the clear coat... think there is a type of plastpack primer or something similar also but can't remember...
if we'd had more time I probably would have spray puttied the handles to smooth them out because as is at the moment they still have the original textures and the passenger side one had a few scratches caused by who knows what...
oh and also the rear passenger side wheel arch was repaired, resprayed, and cut 'n' polished thanks to some bastard hitting it with a door or trolley or similar after our previous fix job (we cut out some rust..) and cracked all the old repairs...
handy having a father who can spray paint; even if he doesnt wear his mask and then complains about how bad it is for ur lungs lol...
not really, same paint as is on the actual car itself and you use spray putty after using bog to smooth out imperfections... just depends how you sand the spray putty.
