Nothing major has happened to me yet, but i remember the time my mother and i went to pick my dad up from nightshift, now this is nearly 14 or 15 years ago when my mum had a TE Cortina. It was about 11.00 at night, i went to open the small front gate to our house, but i must have been half a sleep at the time and my mum was reversing out of the drive and the gate was not fully opened and it caught the left hand indicator. there wasn't much damage to the car, mum was able the sticky tape the indicator back together, but it riped the fence out the ground. Dad wasn't to impresed when he got home. But it show how tough FORDS are holdens would have crumpled under the impact!!!

Hehe, my old XE was a GL (with only a driver's side mirror), and for a coupla years I'd been driving in/backing out of my grandparent's driveway in it whenever the family went over to visit. One day I decided to buy & fit a passenger side mirror, from a mate's wrecked S-pack. One week later, I visited my grandparents, & when I went to back out of the driveway, SNAP, the tip of the mirror caught the gatepost & broke!
Damn st00pid non-springloaded mirrors. LOL all the times I had been backing out, I was only 10cm off from the gatepost. I guess I forgot to consider that after I had put a mirror on! After that I went back to one mirror...
my brother smashed the front light on one of our cars drinking into the garage, and broke my font left indicator in my old ea trying to get out of a tight park, thanks to Tim that cost me nothing to fix
In 2000, driving to Bathurst, I had the flu pretty bad, and I didn't feel like driving, so I let one of my mates drive, he dropped the left wheels into the dirt, over corrected and rolled my car & trailer into a ditch on the other side of the road. No-one was seriously injured, just had glass stuck in my elbow, hand, head & suff. Then the towing bill was $780!!!!!

Didin't look behind me one time while I was on my Ps and reversed the EA into an AU at a back-street T junction.
How is it his car copped a $3k repair bill, and mine only needed the bumper tying up where the clip broke on the corner???
Thank christ for mum's insurance to cover my stupid mistakes :)
