Diff Conversion

gday people,
Im looking at doing a conversion from my 3.08 Open centre, to a 3.45 LSD, what is involved in doing this, also if i was able to source the diff, how much would it cost to get it put it in??

Also I got a 4spd and 3.08 first maxes out at like 80,85 or somethin, with the 3.45 when would first be at 5000, main reason for change is for better take off, of course.

also my car is EB 1 fairmont

94 ED Fairmont
AU Series II Intech 4.0L
EL Fuel injection
POD in Air Box
Thermo Fans
Pacemaker 4480, Custom Race 3" Exhaust, High Flow Cat
3000 Stall
4.11 LSD
Auto Cooler
To come:
Jays RPD R4 Spec cam 3000-6500
Uni-Chip, Expected 155+ Rwkw

Re: Diff Conversion

Easiest is to buy an EB or ED XR6 diff and slot it in.
If u buy the gears and centre then u need to install, shim and lap it all up. Big job and costly.
