gday people,
Im looking at doing a conversion from my 3.08 Open centre, to a 3.45 LSD, what is involved in doing this, also if i was able to source the diff, how much would it cost to get it put it in??

Also I got a 4spd and 3.08 first maxes out at like 80,85 or somethin, with the 3.45 when would first be at 5000, main reason for change is for better take off, of course.

also my car is EB 1 fairmont

Easiest is to buy an EB or ED XR6 diff and slot it in.
If u buy the gears and centre then u need to install, shim and lap it all up. Big job and costly.
