hi,
could someone tell me if these wheels will fit on my ED XR6, the link is below:

i have seen a set of wheels like these that do fit but i am unsure if these particular ones will fit the offset,etc.

After reading that he took them off his AU ute, I will say NO they won't fit, unless you want to run spacers....which my beleif is that they are illegal in every state and territory.....

Just do what I done and buy new from a wheel joint....that are specifically made for pre-AU models.

Mine cost $1,350 (in vic) with tyres, nuts and tickford centre caps....

Do not buy off ebay unless they are an actual business selling off ebay(like i did)....in other words, dont buy private, u really don't know what you gettin when it comes to these....

thats my opinion anyways....might be wrong, but im drunk so im not fussed...HA!!

the stud pattern is the same, so yes they will fit on, but AU onwards had different offset and they will sit too far in the guard, which do require spacers, but the are illegal in every state and territory...

you might get away with wheel spacers if your car doesnt attrack to much attention but i wouldnt try it as it puts extra stress on wheel joints/bearings and axles because of increased track.

it is best to go buy yourself a wheel package as hellbent_ef says.

from wat i see on ebay its 400 for the mags and could still go up
+ up to 150 for shipping
+ 400 for new tyres becuase two are worn
+70 for wheel and lock nuts
+ 45 on top of that for a wheel alignment
so all up about over 1000, and the rims are 4years old when u could get new ones for about 1400
still ur choice but...

thanks guys, yeh i didnt think they would fit, i will likely just buy em off a proper joint and get what i want, thanks for the replies, cheers
