Has anyone heard of a DOHC EA? Apparently when they were developing heads for the 3.9L they made a small run of DOHC heads for testing and evaluation.
I
would not have believed it until yesterday when I was looking for body kits for the EA and he said that he dosen't show many people this and pulled out a brand spanking new 3.9L DOHC head with rockers cam and gears. I am now trying to get him to sell it to me for the right price.

So back to the original question has anyone heard or knows anything about them?

Might be a Krogdahl head is it 2v or 4v? Krogdahl heads www.krogdahl.com.au are 2v only but dual plug.

This one was a 4v. He said he got it from a guy at Ford after making the some moulds for them, for some of there body kits.
I'll try and get some pictures in the next week or so from him.

Yeah the only ones i'd heard of were the Krogdahl heads... which were meant to give a bit of a gain... but the cost was far too excessive.

Ive got a Wheels magazine article from the early 90's on DOHC heads that Ford were developing.. Unfortunatly I havent got a scanner but Ford were definatly developing DOHC for use on the E-series at some stage, but I think the beancounters decided it was too expensive at the time.
