Well, i just bought some very expensive petrol - no not cos of how much it costs, but because of the infringement notice i got with it!
Tonight I have seen no less than 10 E-Series cars pulled over, maybe 1 riced up Excel, and 2 Commodores as well, but damn - what is it about the E-Series Falcons?! Saw one with VERY dodgy looking tyres (steelies on the back 2 was a dead giveaway), and from the guy's face i'd say Mr. Plod just reached into his pocket and squeezed his wallet as hard as he could.
I guess that's what happens at tax time - they give you your return only to take it right back again. Buggers they are.
Got done for extra lights on in built up area (AGAIN!), i have driving lights hidden behind my EF's front bar and they shine out through the brake ducts, forgot they were on and kept driving. So yes i did deserve to be pulled up, but i would have thought a reminder to turn them off, instead of a ticket and the threat of another one if i didnt shutup, would have been a bit nicer.
Thinking very seriously about submitting a complaint to the guy's boss - i dont mean to sound like im whinging cos i was done - i accept that yes it was my fault, but the way he dealt with it was completely unprofessional.
Don't bother with the letter, it wont get looked at twice... Even if you were in the right there is pretty much nothing that you can do that will have any effect...
What an ironic thread! I just got pulled up in the XR8 for my driving lights 'sticking out like dogs bollocks' were his exact words
No fine though, just a slap on the wrist, and a stern look at the car.. I reckon they musta asked me if it was my car about 5 times! "No officer, it's my mothers." lol
