E-Series Intake Snorkle

Guys

This is starting to give me the shits. Ive been to two ford dealers now, and neither of them can help me. I want the wider intake snorkle to suit an EA-EB. Some people say its XH, some say its XG. Both dealers ive been to have shown me the part diagrams of the intake - the XG intake comes from behind the headlight, XF style, and goes into the top of an EEC IV airbox ala EB. The XH intake comes from the top of the EF radiator and goes into the bottom of an EEC V airbox, ala EF. I CANT ****ING FIND THE PART! does anyone have a part number on this $2 peice of injected moulded plastic? my brother has one on his car ffs! im going to have to take it off and go down because both of these dealers (large dealers i might add) have been useless, and know of no part that looks like my brothers.

i didnt think this could be such a pain in the ass!

Re: E-Series Intake Snorkle

XH series Intake snorkel costs approx $32.00 (New Genuine Snorkel). The Ford Part Number for the Snorkel is EHC9C675-A.

yep
its definatly the XH snorkel ya want

you have to cut the small snorkel belmouth off ya fan shroud to fit it as well as i think a small bit of cutting on ya airbox lid.
ive heard this snorkel, allong with a decent aftermarket filter (BMC or K&N) give quite a noticable gain in mid throttle

Re: E-Series Intake Snorkle

Definetly not XG.

XH is the one you want but not XHII(XR6) which is what I think you have been shown. I think this car had the EF/EL split manifold and thus took the inlet air in at the bottom.

The basic XH utes still had the EA-ED low-style manifold and the same style EEC IV airbox but with the intake snorkel your after.

Sorry can't help with part no. but I'm sure it's been posted before. Have you tried a search?
